Five things we do
Most of our work centres on iOS apps and the products around them.
iOS app development
- Who it is for
- Founders who need a first iOS app, and companies adding an app to an existing product.
- What you get
- A native app in Swift and SwiftUI, with UIKit where it is the better tool.
- An architecture your next engineer can read: MVVM or CLEAN, tested where it matters.
- A release pipeline with Fastlane, so shipping to TestFlight and the App Store is one command.
- How it works
- We agree the first release, the smallest version that proves the idea.
- You see builds as we go and change direction early, when it is cheap.
- Tools
- Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, Fastlane
Full-stack web products
- Who it is for
- Teams that need a web app, dashboard or back office next to their mobile product.
- What you get
- A Next.js and TypeScript front end with a Node.js or Supabase back end on PostgreSQL.
- Deployment on Vercel or AWS, with a preview for every change.
- How it works
- We build the thinnest end-to-end slice first, then widen it.
- One person owns front end and back end, which keeps decisions quick.
- Tools
- Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, AWS
AI integration
- Who it is for
- Companies that want a language-model feature or an automation inside a product they already run.
- What you get
- LLM features built on the Claude API, with the prompts, evaluation and fallbacks a product needs.
- Automations that connect your existing tools, such as chat, orders and email.
- An honest view of where a model helps and where plain code is better.
- How it works
- We start with one narrow use case and measure it on real examples.
- Discernion, our news product, runs a multi-model pipeline over 300+ publishers.
- Tools
- Claude API, LLM pipelines, automation
App rescue and modernization
- Who it is for
- Companies with an app that is hard to change, slow to release or written in Objective-C.
- What you get
- A written assessment of the codebase and a plan you can price.
- Step-by-step rebuilds, including Objective-C to Swift and a move to MVVM or CLEAN.
- CI/CD with Fastlane and a release routine the team can run without us.
- How it works
- We keep the app shipping while we improve it.
- Each change comes with a short note on why, so the team learns the new structure.
- Tools
- Swift, Objective-C, Fastlane, GitLab Runner
Senior engineering leadership
- Who it is for
- Teams that need a senior iOS engineer to lead, review and mentor for a period.
- What you get
- Code reviews and pair programming with your engineers.
- Written coding guidelines the team agrees on.
- Help with hiring: technical interviews and a sharper process.
- How it works
- We join your team and tools for a fixed period or a set number of days per week.
- Reviews and guidelines stay with the team after we leave.
- Tools
- Code review, coding guidelines, technical interviews, mentoring
How an engagement runs
- We talk, by email or on a call, until we both understand the problem.
- You get a short written scope: goals, what is in, what is out, and how we price it.
- We build in small releases you can try, on TestFlight for apps and on a preview URL for the web.
- At the end you get the code, the documentation and a handover session.
